summer internship program

Franklin Pharmaceutical Consulting is seeking a dedicated and talented Summer Intern to join our team for Summer 2024.

FPC is a specialized consulting firm focused on driving access to medicines for patients by developing resources to communicate the medical, HEOR, RWE, and market access value of products to access decision-makers and beyond. Our team has decades of experience across many therapeutic areas, research methodologies, and communication tools. FPC clients include multiple Fortune 500 pharmaceutical and bio-pharmaceutical companies.

Through this internship experience the student will learn about the crucial role of market access and HEOR/RWE in the healthcare industry. The student will also gain experience developing studies and tools which impact patient access decisions.

Minimum Requirements for Internship

  • Must be an ongoing student who is returning to school the semester following the internship
  • Must be enrolled in an academic program pursuing a Doctoral degree related to pharmacy, public health, pharmacoeconomics, or HEOR
  • Must have completed at least one year of Doctoral level studies prior to internship
  • Must be able to commit 40 hours/week for length of the internship (8-10 weeks; start date to coincide with academic summer calendar)
  • Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale)
  • Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated leadership in your academic career
  • Interest in developing expertise in HEOR, RWE, or Market Access
  • Prior research and clinical experience in healthcare

Duties/Responsibilities as Intern

  • Assist FPC team members in the development of client projects such as AMCP Dossiers, manuscripts, and communication tools
  • Participate in relevant business meetings
  • Proactively work with preceptor and other members of the team
  • Conduct a research or business project as agreed with Preceptor
  • Final internship presentation on an identified project

Location/Salary

  • Interns will be working remotely
  • Salary will be competitive
